§ 2-271. Terms and compensation of municipal court chief and deputy judges.

(a)

The term of judges shall be for a period of four years, and shall expire upon the judge being removed from office by the mayor and city council or until another judge is appointed at the end of the current judge's term.

(b)

The compensation for the chief judge of the municipal court and the deputy judge shall be at a rate determined from time to time by the mayor and city council.
