The general purpose of this division is to promote the health, safety, and general
welfare of the citizens of the city by requiring that new and existing mobile food
vendors provide residents and customers with a level of cleanliness, quality and safety.
(b)
It is also the intent of this division to establish reasonable guidelines and restrictions
for mobile food vendors in relationship to established restaurant businesses and ensure
the safe and convenient use of the public rights-of-way.
