The purpose of a concept plat review is to provide a developer with an economical
way to work with the city staff, the planning commission, and the city council in
reaching a general agreement as to the nature of a proposed land subdivision project,
its impact on the community, and its conformance with the codes, ordinances, plans
and policies of the city. For the concept plat review, the developer will not need
detailed architectural and engineering drawings.
